R.I.P. Dannie Flesher, co-founder of Wax Trax! Records
Dannie Flesher, who co-founded the Wax Trax! Records store and label with Jim Nash, died of pneumonia on Sunday, January 10, in his hometown of Hope, Arkansas. He was 58. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. As lifelong admirers of the art that Jim and Dannie cultivated, he will be greatly missed.
If you were a friend or family member of Dannie's and have a recollection you want to share, we would love to hear from you. Tributes and remembrances will be posted here as we receive them.

Greater Than One Reissues
Out Monday are rereleases of virtually the entire Greater Than One discography, including all the Wax Trax releases, by Brainwashed Recordings. Preorders arrived today, so I can definitively say these are very well done. The rerelease of London is a 3 CD collection of London, all the additional tracks from that period, videos for Utopia, I Don't Need God and Pure, as well as many pictures, articles, interviews, etc. G-Force is similar, containing the full album, Utopia, I Don't Need God, Index, and much more additional material. There's also a long-awaited cd release of All The Masters Licked Me, the duo's first full album which has somehow avoided a cd pressing all these years.
Buy them all at the Brainwashed store.
