  • There were a total of 13 songs recorded for this album, several of which never saw release. One of these, titled "Oscillator" was intended to be produced by John Fryer, but was omitted due to an issue with the tape it was recorded on.
  • Much more information on the recording of the ablum can be read in the article Three Down: The Making Of Burn, which was published on the Wax Trax website in 1995, in conjunction with the album's release.
  • Before the album was released, Chris Randall announced an online contest to design the cover art. The contest announcement can be viewed here. The winner was picked but TVT cancelled the contest without notice and used an in-house designer to come up with new cover art due to budgetary reasons.
